This week Harlow U7s travelled to Wendens Ambro Rugby Club. It was sunny day and surprisingly warm compared to recent weeks, although not yet time to put the sunglasses on.
In preparation for some upcoming tournaments Oliver Matthews and Archie Allen returned from the under 8's to play in their usual age group. This was great news as for the first time this season we had a full under 8's squad.
Lots of tries were scored and the passing is really improving. Impressive side stepping by, Nicco Blasi, James Forde, Owen Eynon, Toby Aynes and Henry Stovell.
Great tagging from Tobie Westbrook, and Thomas Evans where Will Pite has clearly been working on his passing. Topped off by a mature performance from Archie Allen.
Man of the match this week was very closely contested, but Oliver Matthews claimed the prize by showing what he had learned playing for the under 8's and leading the way with the under 7's with an impressive try count.
