1st Game Romford Lost 12 - 7
2nd Game Wanstead Lost 12 - 11
3rd Game Romford Lost 8 - 7
4th Game v Wanstead Won 10 - 8
This week Harlow U7s travelled to Romford Rugby Club to play Romford and Wanstead. It was a pretty cold day but the rain managed to hold off and the snow had not yet arrived.
In all four games were played with vigour and excitement and again plenty of tries were scored. This week the distribution of tries went right across the team with most players contributing to the score sheet.
Some wonderful side stepping was on display from many of the players, Henry Stovell particularly impressing, and some great passing from Gabe Greaves meant a few tries were scored because of his quick thinking and passing. Jake Lacey and Nicco Blasi were on form running in a number of tries.
A special mention to Will Pite who offered to play for the under 8's when the looked like they would be short, and to Tobie Westbrook who played for Wanstead when they were short of a player in the final game.
Man of the match this week was Owen Eynon, who scored a few tries and linked up well with his team mates. He was also very keen at cajoling his team mates to stay in their defensive line.
Squad: Toby Aynes, Will Pite, Owen Eynon, Jake Lacey, Toby Westbrook, Thomas Evans, James Forde, Nicco Blasi, Henry Stovell, Gabe Greaves
