Keighley scoring Harlow Ladies 1st ever try |
Click to enlarge Keighley is one of the originals that started in 2000, and she hasn't looked back since. She scored our first ever try in our first ever match on Ash Tree Field, which is probably my best moment so far. Also coming 2nd in the Boddica cup, which was a great experience and bought everyone so much closer as a team. From there she has played for Writtle college ladies team and now also playing for Eastern Counties as their fly-half and stand in scrum half. She won Managers player in 2004/05 season and was vice captain from 2000 until 2005, which has been a real honour for her. Keighley says: "What more can I say than I have loved the 6 years I have been playing and hope to have many more years in the team, they're like my family.....my very drunk loud family!" |
